A lottery player in the City of Sheboygan has won big.
The Wisconsin Lottery has announced that Jermie Nelson won $1 million on a $1,000,000 Crossword scratch-off ticket purchased at the Loves Travel Stop located on South Business Drive. The scratcher is a relatively new debut from the Wisconsin Lottery, giving players the chance to win anywhere from $75 to the $1 million grand prize, which Nelson officially claimed.
Making its debut in December of last year, Nelson has become the game’s first-ever grand prize winner, meaning one additional grand prize ticket is still out there waiting to be claimed.
This also comes as a major win for the Love’s gas station in Sheboygan.
Not only is it the largest winner they have ever sold, thanks to the Retailer Performance Program Winning Ticket Incentive, they will also receive $20,000 for selling Nelson his winning ticket.
Since December, two players have won $5,000, one has won $10,000, and one has won $50,000 on the $1,000,000 Crossword scratch-off.
