Cleanup is underway in Sussex after a radar-confirmed tornado tore through the area during Tuesday night’s severe storms.
Crews worked through Wednesday morning, clearing downed power lines and removing fallen trees left in the storm’s wake.
Some homes were damaged, with siding ripped off, though it’s still unclear whether anyone was injured.
The National Weather Service is expected to survey the area to assess the full extent of the damage.
Officials have also confirmed a second tornado touched down in the town of Waterford in Racine County.
