The City of Manitowoc Engineering Department announced that 10th Street between Quay Street and Maritime Drive is scheduled to be closed to traffic between approximately 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. next Tuesday and Wednesday (April 21 and 22nd).
Manager Greg Minikel tells seehafernews.com that routine inspection of the 10th Street lift Bridge will be conducted next Tuesday. Northbound traffic on 10th Street will be detoured at Franklin Street to South 8th Street to Maritime Drive, then back onto North 10th Street, while southbound traffic on 10th Street will be detoured along the same route in the opposite direction.
Meanwhile, 8th Street between Quay Street and Maritime Drive is scheduled to be closed to traffic for the routine inspection of the 8th Street Lift Bridge on April 22nd.
Northbound traffic on 8th Street will be detoured at Franklin Street to South 10th Street to Maritime Street and back to North 8th Street, while southbound traffic on 8th Street will be detoured along the same route in the opposite direction. The inspection will be conducted by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and Collins Engineers.
