A lawsuit has been filed against Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center related to a 2024 attack on its property.
Elvira Hernandez is suing the hospital, alleging inadequate security after she was assaulted in the facility’s parking lot while visiting her mother.
According to police, she was attacked from behind by individuals attempting to steal her keys.
Hernandez argues the hospital failed to meet its legal responsibility to maintain a safe environment for visitors and staff.
The case remains under investigation, and no suspects have been arrested.
