Authorities in Sheboygan have identified a suspect in a recent string of crimes.
The Sheboygan Police Department has announced that the individual seen attempting to break into a carwash on the City’s south side has been identified.
This comes after police released security camera images of the individual on two separate occasions, with the second giving a glimpse at the suspect’s face.
On March 23rd, Sheboygan Police received various reports regarding the man, who is yet to be named publicly, who made numerous attempts to break into the carwash and the coin machines outside over the course of multiple days.
While it was never revealed if the suspect made off with any money, authorities did note that he caused extensive damage to the property.
At this time, charges are yet to be made official; however, they have been forwarded to the Sheboygan County District Attorney’s Office.
To close, the Sheboygan Police Department finished by saying, “Thank you to our community member(s) who provided useful information which allowed our officers to continue their investigation.”
