Manitowoc Lutheran was scheduled to play its second match as a WIAA-sanctioned program this afternoon; however, its match at Sturgeon Bay has been postponed until May 18th
Due to poor field conditions. The Lancers return to action Thursday night at Elkhart Lake/Glenbeulah with match time scheduled for 7 p.m.
Meanwhile, Manitowoc Lincoln’s match with Oostburg has been moved to Rubick Field in Manitowoc and will start at 4:30 p.m. The junior varsity match will follow at 6:30 p.m.
The Ships have split their first four matches of the season, having lost to Waukesha West 3-1 last Saturday at UW-Whitewater, while The Lady Flying’ Dutch have won their first two matches, having yet to allow a goal against.
Elsewhere, Valders hosts Elkhart Lake/Glenbeulah, Kiel looks to go to 5 and 0 as they entertain Sheboygan Lutheran/Christian, Howards Grove hosts New Holstein, Sheboygan Falls is at Freedom, Kohler looks for their first win of the season as they entertain Mayville, Ozaukee/Random Lake heads north to Kewaunee, Seymour travels to Denmark, Menasha hosts Green Bay Preble, Fox Valley Lutheran is home for Notre Dame Academy of Green Bay, Green Bay East makes a short trip to Ashwaubenon, Green Bay West is at Little Chute, Waupaca hosts St. Mary Catholic and Luxemburg Casco heads to Appleton to play The Xavier Hawks.
