A man is being held in Dane County Jail on two counts of attempted homicide.
Madison police say Dezmond Chest’s arrest is in connection to a shooting on the city’s east side on March 24th, and he was taken to jail yesterday.
Officers responded to Bewick Street after getting reports of shots fired and found broken glass in the area.
Surveillance later showed Chest allegedly shooting at another vehicle with two people inside, but nobody was hurt.
Investigators noted that Chest knew the two people who were in the vehicle.
