A Sheboygan man has died after he was struck by a semi over the weekend.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office was called to the area of I-43 northbound in the Town of Mosel just after 4:00 Sunday evening on a report of a pedestrian being struck by a semi.
It was learned that the 48-year-old man had pulled over on the side of the road for an unknown reason and exited his vehicle.
It was at that point that he was hit by the semi and died at the scene.
His name and any additional information about the incident have not been released.
The Sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by the Wisconsin State Patrol, Orange Cross Ambulance, Howards Grove Fire Department, Haven Fire Department, and Sheboygan County Highway Department.
