The woman accused of stealing thousands from a Sheboygan County 4H group has had her next court date scheduled.
Court records show that 50-year-old Stacy Limberg is now set for arraignment after having her request to substitute the judge presiding over her case granted.
As of this morning, Judge Natasha Torry has been put in charge of Limburg’s case as she faces one felony charge of Theft-Business Setting $10,000 to $100,000.
This comes after the 50-year-old was arrested by the Sheboygan Police Department after admitting she wrote fraudulent checks and cashed them herself while serving as the Treasurer of Sheboygan County Junior 4H Dairy Project.
A criminal complaint shows that in 2024, Limberg wrote eight checks to her husband, her daughter, and other non-4H-affiliated groups using the 4H group’s money, but cashed them at a bank herself because “she had to pay farm costs, repair costs of machinery on the farm, and medical costs.”
In total, Limberg is accused of stealing $23,350 for the Sheboygan County Junior 4H Dairy Project.
She will now return to court for her arraignment on April 27th at 9:00 a.m. in Branch 2.
