A pair of Two Rivers companies are getting ready to “yarn bomb” the Cool City again.
Crescent Textile Solutions and Intertwined are again teaming up to decorate Washington Street with a variety of yarn-based creations.
For the past several years, knitters and crocheters have covered the light poles in the downtown area with colorful, unique pieces, bringing a bright, summertime feel to the area.
The organizers are looking for fabric artists who knit or crochet and who are interested in creating pieces to be featured.
Pieces must be 6 feet long by 26 inches wide and be completed by June 15th.
Anyone who is interested in creating something can reach out to Crescent or Intertwined for more information.
Crescent will also provide yarn for those in need of supplies.
