As Earth Day approaches, a local business is looking to celebrate by giving back.
Each year, Earth Day falls on April 22nd, and Habitat for Humanity Lakeside’s Sheboygan ReStore will be running a promotion to encourage the community to donate their gently used goods.
From April 22nd through the 25th, shoppers will receive a 10% discount in exchange for accepted donations to the ReStore.
Rachel Hartlaub, the ReStore Manager, says that this promotion rewards the fight for sustainability, while adding, “Donating your used items to us gives them a second life. Recycling items that would otherwise be thrown away is what the ReStore is all about.”
All one has to do to qualify for this discount is stop by the ReStore during regular operating hours between April 22nd and the 25th; however, it is recommended to check the organization’s donation guidelines to ensure your donation is accepted.
Earth Day was established in 1970 by Wisconsin Senator Gaylord Nelson to raise global awareness of environmental issues and inspire action toward sustainability, and now, Sheboygan’s ReStore is looking to incentivize the community to do their part this year.
10% discount coupons earned during this promotion will be valid through June 30th.
