For the 17th year in a row, Lakeshore College has earned the Military Friendly® Schools Designation.
The Cleveland college was recognized as a Silver Level School for 2026-2027 by Viqtory, a national organization that connects the military community to educational and entrepreneurial opportunities and civilian employment.
Institutions earning the Military Friendly Schools® designation were evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey.
Over 3,200 companies participated in the Military Friendly® survey.
To earn the honor, along with the Military Friendly® Spouse School designation, Lakeshore College partners with area resources, including County Veterans Services, Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Federal Veterans Administration to ensure access to resources that support the success of veterans, as well as their spouses and dependents.
President Dr. Paul Carlsen noted, “Lakeshore College is committed to helping military students make a smooth transition into college life and the civilian workforce. This recognition reflects our continued dedication to supporting veterans and their families.”
