Five children are recovering following a crash involving a school bus in Madison.
First responders were called out to Highway 14 just south of the Beltline yesterday after the school bus was hit by a dump truck.
Police say the dump truck ran a red light and crashed into the bus as it was turning onto South Park Street.
The five students from Midvale Elementary were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
The 77-year-old driver of the dump truck was given a ticket for the red light violation.
