Despite the chilly temperatures, the Kiel girls’ soccer team wasn’t slowed down in its game against Winnebago Lutheran Academy.
The Raiders dominated the matchup, winning 7-1 on the back of a hat trick by Taavi Saeger.
Deanna Schwaller also contributed a pair of goals, while Cara Madson and Molly Jaschob rounded out the scoring.
On the defensive side of the field, Coach Mike Pritchard praised the play of Callaway Goodman and Bella Schrage.
The Raiders are now 2-0 to start the season, as they get ready for two games in as many days.
First up will be a home matchup against Howards Grove on Thursday, followed by a trip to Howards Grove on Friday.
