The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office says to lock your doors after a string of vehicle entries.
They’ve been happening in the Mishicot area, and in all cases so far, the vehicles involved were left unlocked.
Criminals often look for the easiest opportunity to take anything, and a locked door and empty vehicle go a long way.
Manitowoc County Sheriff’s deputies remind residents to lock their vehicles whenever they park, remove valuables such as wallets, purses, and electronics, park in well-lit areas, and report suspicious activity immediately.
