The Manitowoc County Historical Society has announced the theme of its May field trip program.
The event will be centered on the theme of “Adages,” such as “Good night, sleep tight. Don’t let the bed bugs bite” and “Strike while the iron is hot.”
Visitors will get the opportunity to learn about the origin of many of these adages, with interpreters on hand to explore the mystery behind them with hands-on activities and lessons around the village.
This program is open to all public, private, and homeschool students.
Advanced registration is required, and a fee is charged.
Details and registration information can be found at ManitowocCountyHistory.org or by calling the museum at (920) 684-4445.
