A Manitowoc resident is behind the wheel of a brand-new truck thanks to Menards.
Each month, Menards gives away a free truck to one of their dedicated customers, and Serena Lewis of Manitowoc was selected as the lucky winner for the month of February.
Serena and her husband stopped by the Manitowoc Menards yesterday (April 3rd) to collect her truck, a GMC Sierra 1500 valued at more than $71,000.
The Lewises told us they were elated to be the winners.
“It’s awesome because he shops here all the time, so it pays off,” she said. While her husband added, “It’s kind of unbelievable, really.”
As the spring season winds up, there are sure to be many projects ahead that will make use of the truck, but currently, they are just happy to have a new vehicle.
“I mean at this point, it’s just enjoy the truck and see what comes of it,” Mr. Lewis noted.
Meanwhile, Ben Fitzgerald, the Manitowoc Menards Store Manager, was just as excited to finally have the monthly winner be a customer at his store.
Fitzgerald said, “Out of 341 stores, its pretty amazing that we had a winner out of Manitowoc, Wisconsin. It’s pretty awesome and exciting to be able to give back to a loyal Menards customer.”
