A yearly tradition for a Sheboygan high school will be making its return this month.
The Sheboygan South High School Music Department’s 19th annual Spring Swing is set to take place on April 18th from 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at 3 Sheeps Brewing.
This annual event will feature performances by the South High Jazz Ensembles and a guest performance from Paul Sucherman’s Doghouse Big Band.
The music department has described the Spring Swing as a lively, family-friendly event that promises an evening of high-energy jazz music and swing dancing.
For those who are new to swing dancing, complementary dance lessons will be offered from 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. by instructors from Jessica’s School of Dance to kick off the night for those looking to join in on the fun.
South’s music department continued to explain, “The Spring Swing has become a beloved community tradition, showcasing student talent while bringing people together through music, dance, and celebration.”
This event is free and open to the public, and anyone interested is encouraged to attend and support local students.
