
It was another successful year for the 12th Annual Two Rivers 10-Mile Race.
Over 200 runners competed in the race, which included various running challenges.
Some residents took the top spot in different events, including Caleb Kroiss of Two Rivers in the 1/3 mile Kids’ Run with a time of 1:54, while Henry Bubolz of Manitowoc got second place with a time of 2:06. Wyatt Karstaedt of Two Rivers grabbed 3rd, finishing in 2:13.
In the girls’ 1/3 mile Kids’ Run, Brynn Popp of Two Rivers won with a time of 2:02. McKenna and Madison Brown of Two Rivers took second and third with times of 2:12 and 2:37, respectively.
In the 10-mile relay, Grayson Stout of Sheboygan became a three-time Two Rivers 10-Mile champion, completing the course at 51:50.
Charles Quast from Fond du Lac finished 2nd overall in his first 10-mile run with a time of 53:26. Coming in 3rd place was Dan Peters from Minneapolis, MN, with a time of 57:14.
On the women’s side, Leah Patterson of Oshkosh got 1st in the 10-mile run with a time of 1:01:53. It was also her first time winning the event.
In 2nd place was Melissa Flucke of Green, finishing in 1:04:28. Charlene Larson of Columbus, WI, took 3rd place with a time of 1:08:22. 40 and over winners of the Two Rivers 10-mile 40 and older category included Bray Theyerl of Davenport, IA, and Carrie Peters of Appleton.
