A nonprofit in Sheboygan County will be joining in on the fun to promote childhood literacy throughout the community.
Much like the United Way of Manitowoc County, Sheboygan County’s United Way will be hosting its very own Dolly Dance Party fundraiser this month.
The Dolly Dance Party will take place on Saturday, April 18th, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Paradigm Coffee and Music on 8th Street in the City of Sheboygan.
Just as Manitowoc County’s event will, the Dolly Dance Party in Sheboygan will help raise funds to support the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.
During the event, attendees will have the chance to dress up as Dolly herself and enter the Dolly Parton lookalike contest, participate in raffles, and join the dance party featuring the country music icon’s most notable hits.
Each ticket purchased to attend will sponsor a child to receive a free book every month for a full year. Tickets will cost $32 per person.
Those looking to attend the event and support childhood literacy in Sheboygan County can purchase tickets by visiting uwofsc.org, while more information on the Dolly Parton Imagination Library can be found at imaginationlibrary.com.
