The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office has received some new equipment.
The department got two Paraclete high-cut ballistic helmets through a United States Deputy Sheriffs’ Association (USDSA) grant.
The helmets provided an added layer of protection for deputies during high-risk situations, directly contributing to their safety and preparedness in the field.
The organization has also provided gear to departments across the U.S., including tactical entry equipment, preliminary breath testers, and ballistic vests, among other items.
The USDSA also provides end-of-watch support and citizen engagement programs.
The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office concludes by expressing its gratitude for the organization’s commitment to equipping officers with the resources they need to protect and serve.
