A Madison Metropolitan School District employee is facing charges for allegedly taking a nude photo of a student with disabilities.
The investigation into Tatianna Jefferson dates back to January, when police were notified about the photo and a staff member at Thoreau Elementary School.
Jefferson is accused of taking the photo of the second-grader, who has severe autism, and then sharing it with multiple people.
The photo was allegedly taken in a private room used as a calming space for that child.
Charges include taking an intimate representation without consent and child neglect.
