The second of two individuals charged with stealing from a store in Manitowoc is set to appear in court.
According to court documents, 31-year-old Amber Lutzke of Manitowoc will be making her initial appearance today (March 30th) in front of Judge Anthony Lambrecht.
Lutzke has been charged with one felony count of Retail Theft – Intentionally Take $500 – $5,000 after being caught stealing from the Manitowoc Meijer store on February 19th.
The charge also carries a repeater modifier, as she has previous run-ins with the law, linked to allegedly stealing from other local businesses.
The Manitowoc Police Department says that the Lutzke, along with 31-year-old Nicholas Arizola, were seen on security camera footage stealing a cart of items, including football cards, Pokémon-related items, butane, and Easter totes.
In the time since her Manitowoc County offense was filed, she has also been handed an identical Retail Theft – Intentionally Take $500 – $5,000 felony charge in Sheboygan County for an incident that occurred on May 25th of 2024.
She will make her initial appearance in that case on April 6th.
