The search for a runaway kangaroo in Juneau County is over.
The owners of Sunshine Farm in Necedah posted online Wednesday that their kangaroo named Chesney had escaped his enclosure.
Over the course of the next few days, there have been a number of reported sightings of the kangaroo, though none had resulted in Chesney’s homecoming, until Saturday.
Chesney came out from hiding in an area where he had been previously cited when attracted by treats and familiar scents.
He is now back home, safe at Sunshine Farm.
