Bus routes will be changing ahead of the Manitowoc Public School District’s 2026-2027 school year.
Due to the district-wide changes in school configuration, specifically the closure of Madison and Jackson Elementary School, all bus routes will be new for the upcoming year.
The school district wants to ensure every student who needs transportation is scheduled appropriately, so all K-12 families must confirm or sign up for busing between May 1st and August 21st.
Morning bus routes will be posted online on August 1st, while 4K busing information will be mailed to families the week of August 24th. Busing will begin on September 14th for those who are late to register.
The districts say the plant’s morning pickup window for students is between 6:15 a.m. and 7:10 a.m.
The afternoon route will be split. K-4 students arrive home first between 3:10 and 3:45 p.m., while grades 5-12 arrive later, or between 4:00 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.
