
The ADRC of the Lakeshore has announced a four-part informational series they will be holding at the Lester Public Library in Two Rivers.
The first presentation will be held on Monday, April 13th, featuring guest speaker Jean Kenevan from the Office for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
During the 45-60 minute presentation, Kenevan will discuss in-home services that are available to support independence, as well as adaptive equipment, optical aids, eye diseases, and daily living skills, and will hold a Q&A session at the end.
The second presentation on July 7th will feature Jenny Johnson, the Director of Nursing and Therapy, and Hospice Patient Care Coordinator at Homecare Health Services and Hospice.
On September 16th, Caroline Ludka from the Office for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing will be on hand, and the series will close on November 2nd with a presentation by Stacie Scheibe from Options for Independent Living.
All of the programs will begin at 1:00 p.m. and are free to attend.
