One of the most popular and unique fundraising events in the area is just two weeks away.
The 7th Annual Throw with All Your Heart Fundraiser will be held at Tapped on the Lakeshore on Saturday, April 11th, with proceeds benefiting Ascend Services.
The Celebrity Ace Throwing Competition is also making its grand return, with eight local celebrities slated to participate.
They are Manitowoc Mayor Justin Nickels, Doneff Companies Vice President Scott McMeans, Amanda Sitkiewitz, the Market President at Bank First, Nicolet National Bank Senior VP, Luxe Beauty Bar Owners Ashley Henneman and Annie Skinkis, Dr. Baley Mikita, the owner of The Optimal Health Co. Chiropractic, Bold Blazer Group Owner Nicole Wooten, and local restaurateur Ryan Morris.
Ascend Services Executive Director Deanna Genske reflected on the history of the event, saying, “Our very first Throw With All Your Heart was held in February 2020—just weeks before the world changed due to the pandemic. To see this event not only continue, but thrive into its seventh year, speaks volumes about the strength and generosity of our community.”
