The City of Two Rivers Fire Department is looking for a building to use for non-live fire training.
The department says buildings that are vacant and will be demolished soon will be needed to conduct realistic, hands-on training exercises.
They will include search and rescue operations, forcible entry techniques, ladder placement, and mayday and firefighter rescue scenarios, among others.
The City of Two Rivers Fire Department explains that training in real buildings provides real-world experience that can’t be replicated, improves response time and decision making under realistic conditions, and helps fire crews better understand building layouts and structural behavior.
Anyone with information can call the fire department at 920-793-5521.
