
Patricia A. Holst, age 81, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life with family by her side on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Northridge Health and Rehabilitation in Manitowoc.
Pat was born on September 19, 1944 in Manitowoc to the late George and Irene (Lynch) Kaufman. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1962. Pat went on to further her education by obtaining her Bachelors Degree in accounting from Silver Lake College in 1992. On November 9, 1968, Pat married Charles R. Holst Jr. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on May 11, 2019. Pat had worked as a secretary and receptionist at F.W. Kerscher Company, was a payroll clerk at Lakeside Packing Company, tax preparer for H + R Block, and a cashier at Shopko. She enjoyed spending her time sewing, crocheting, going to her land in Beecher, reading, and spending time with her cats. Pat was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, and it’s Christian Women.
Survivors include Pat’s daughter, Marge (Cory) Cudahy, Two Rivers; two granddaughters, Anna Berry and Faith Berry (fiancé Bailey Bousley); great grandson, Tate Bousley; two siblings, Nancy (Robert) Gamble and John Kaufman; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Cheney, Lois Holst and Colleen Kaufman; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, George and Irene Kaufman; husband, Charles; and two siblings, Thomas Kaufman and Mary Kaufman.
Funeral services will be held at Noon on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo, 1121 North 14th Street, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Arogya Prashanth Gade with burial of Pat’s cremated remains to be held at Knollwood Cemetery at a later date. A luncheon for family and friends will then be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 N. Water Street, Manitowoc, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at Noon.
