The Manitowoc County Historical Society has announced the date for its Spring Opening Weekend Celebration.
All are invited out to the Pinecrest Historical Village, located at 924 Pine Crest Lane, to enjoy the grand re-opening of the iconic 60-acre village.
The celebration will begin with the 20th Annual Homegrown Heritage Breakfast Fundraiser from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m., which includes scrambled eggs from Humpty Dumpty Eggs, bread from Natural Ovens Bakery, Bacon and Breakfast Sausage from Newton Meats, and more locally sourced food.
There will be several living history demonstrations from 10:00 to 2:00 p.m., including a coffee and doughnuts workshop where guests will learn how to roast their own coffee and fry their own doughnuts.
May 2nd is also Corporate Partner Free Day, where employees of the museum’s corporate partners receive free general admission.
Spring Opening Weekend is made possible in part by WOMT 100, Bank First, and Shoreline Credit Union.
