A Union Grove man is facing prison time after being found guilty of election fraud.
Harry Wait was convicted by a jury in Walworth County this week for illegally asking for absentee ballots as part of a planned effort against election security.
Wait helped lead a group promoting false claims about the 2020 election, and was charged four years ago with posing as elected officials to receive their absentee ballots.
Those elected officials include Assembly Speaker Vos and Racine Mayor Cory Mason.
Wait faces up to seven years in prison, but a sentencing date hasn’t been set.
