The Indianapolis man has been sentenced in connection with a 2023 Manitowoc armed robbery case.
61-year-old Clarence L. Holder was found guilty by a jury on charges of Attempted Armed Robbery with Use of Force, Burglary of a Building or Dwelling, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, but found him not guilty of the most severe charge he faced, Attempted 2nd Degree Intentional Homicide.
Judge Mark Rohrer ordered Holder to spend a total of 25 years in prison, followed by 17 and a half years on extended supervision.
Holder was arrested in November of 2023 after he posed as a delivery driver and pointed a gun at a resident at an apartment in the 2700 block of Viebahn Street.
Holder was also ordered to pay court costs of just shy of $860.
