A West Allis police officer is expected to be okay after being hit by a car.
It happened on Monday near 82nd and West Greenfield Avenue when the officer pulled a car over for a traffic stop.
That car then drove off and hit the officer while fleeing.
A police chase followed until the suspect’s car crashed into another vehicle, and then the suspect ran from the scene.
The suspect was eventually arrested after running through some neighborhood homes.
A passenger in the suspect vehicle was also arrested, but didn’t run from the scene.
Despite all the chaos of the incident, no injuries were reported.
