Gas prices in Eastern Wisconsin are getting closer and closer to the $4.00 threshold.
Since this time last week, the average price per gallon of regular unleaded fuel jumped another nine cents in Manitowoc County, as reported by the AAA Gas Prices website, bumping the average to $3.69.
The last time fuel was this expensive was in November of 2022. Sheboygan County residents aren’t feeling the pinch quite as much, as the average there only bumped up a penny to $3.61, while Calumet County saw an increase of five cents to $3.69.
Outagamie and Brown Counties each reported ten-cent jumps to $3.66 and $3.68, respectively, while Kewaunee County saw a jump of four cents to $3.67 per gallon.
Door County reported the largest increase, rising 11 cents per gallon to an average of $3.70.
The state average also continues to rise, now sitting at $3.66 per gallon after an eight-cent bump, while the national average rose ten cents to $3.98.
