The Two Rivers Parks and Recreation Department is asking for volunteers to help with special events throughout the year.
The department explains that whether someone is passionate about event planning, enjoys working with others, or simply wants to lend a helping hand, there’s a place for everyone.
By filling out an application, Two Rivers will let residents know about upcoming volunteer opportunities that match their interests.
Some events include Sundae Thursday, Cool City Christmas, Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, Paddle Palooza, Community Garden, Kids Nights, and more.
The volunteer interest form will ask for a person’s name, address, phone number, and email. You can also leave notes for organizations you want to help.
