New milestones were reached during the 2025 Lights in Lincoln Park.
In the Spring 2026 edition of Zoo News, Lincoln Park Zoological Society says they raised nearly $60,000, making last year the most profitable year in the light show’s history.
Funds raised by the event are a major contributor to the zoo’s work, allowing it to pursue new projects, such as the creation of a Coastal Wetland Aviary.
Lights in Lincoln Park also had just shy of 90 sponsors, which is also a milestone.
The Zoological Society noted that without their support, the silent show would not be the thriving fundraiser that it continues to be.
Zoo staff also gave thanks to their crew of volunteers for their passion and sacrifices in making the event possible.
They also thanked residents who came out and enjoyed the lights and contributed to one of Manitowoc’s greatest treasures.
Planning for the 2026 Lights in Lincoln Park is already underway.
