Dozens of people were injured after a bus crashed in Green Bay Sunday afternoon (March 22nd).
The Green Bay Police Department and Metro Fire Department were called to the northbound exit of I-43 onto North Webster Avenue just before 2:45 p.m. on a report of a tour-style bus that had crossed the roadway and gone over an embankment.
The bus was said to contain 54 people who were traveling from Chicago to a casino in Michigan, 33 of whom were injured in the crash.
They were transported to one of four separate hospitals in the area, and a reunification center was established at the Salvation Army Kroc Community Center, located at 1315 Lime Kiln Road in Green Bay.

The Wisconsin State Patrol is assisting with a vehicle inspection to identify any potential mechanical defects, and the Green Bay Police Department will determine whether to refer charges against the bus driver.
