A longtime member of the Camp Y-Koda team in Sheboygan is leaving the organization.
Jeremiah Dentz has announced that he is stepping down from his role as Camp Y-Koda Executive Director.
This comes after Dentz spent the past 25 years with the organization.
Dentz has shared that this difficult decision was made as he has accepted an offer to become the new CEO of Generations Intergenerational Center in Plymouth.
On his time spent with Camp Y-Koda, Dentz said, “Camp Y-Koda has been far more than a workplace for me – it has been a home. At the very heart of that home are the people: the campers, students, families, teachers, donors, volunteers and everyone else who has played a role in what we do.”
While adding, “The experiences I’ve had and the memories I’ve made will be forever cherished…It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to serve this community at Camp Y-Koda.”
When Dentz will officially join the Generations team in Plymouth has yet to be announced.
