
Many local basketball players will be representing their schools at an upcoming all-star game.
The 1st annual Electric City All Star Game will take place on March 29th in Kaukauna, and will feature hoopers from Manitowoc Lincoln, Manitowoc Lutheran, Reedsville, Mishicot, Sheboygan North, and Howards Grove.
For Manitowoc Lincoln, seniors Sarah Bolchen and Ava Quinchia will play, while Lutheran, the most represented school, will be sending Abbie Behnke, Makiah Krause, and Marissa and Lilly Mehlhorn will also compete.
Lancers head coach Mike Behnke will also serve as co-coach of the Big East team. Others suiting up for the Big East Conference team include Reedsville’s Kortney Dvorachek, Kensi Rosenow of Mishicot, and Brianne Vandoske of Howards Grove.
Last but not least, Sheboygan North’s selections for the FRCC team will be Bryn Adams and Avianna Schley.
In addition to the All-Star games, a three-point contest will be held featuring athletes from the FRCC, Big East, North Eastern, and Fox Valley Association Conferences, with Krause and Dvorachek competing.
The Electric City All-Star Game will be held at Kaukauna High School with activities beginning at 2:00 p.m.
