
Day one of the WIAA State Boys Basketball Tournament included an upset in Division 4.
#4-seeded Cambridge dominated top-seeded Bonduel 71-49 to advance to the D-4 finals, where they will face Milwaukee Juneau, which also won in dominating fashion.
They took down Regis of Eau Claire 72-54.
In the D-3 matchups, Seymour knocked off Saint Croix Central 67-49, while Racine St. Catherine’s advanced thanks to a 72-66 win over Lake Mills.
On the Division 5 docket today, Reedsville will participate in the program’s first state tournament game in 80 years as they face Sheboygan Lutheran in a game you can hear on 980 WCUB and CubRadio.com starting at 8:30 this morning.
That will be followed by Prentice taking on Southwestern. Division 2 matchups find Slinger facing McFarland, and West Salem vs Whitefish Bay.
And the Division 1 bracket finds Appleton North taking on Wisconsin Lutheran, and De Pere battling Madison Memorial.
