The Washington County board will vote on April 21st on renaming part of County Truck Highway K for conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
The highway would be called “Charlie Kirk Way” in the towns of Addison, Hartford, Polk, and West Bend.
Kirk was a popular and controversial podcaster who was shot and killed while giving a speech at a university in Utah last year.
Hundreds of people packed the Washington County Executive Committee meeting yesterday and spoke in opposition to the highway name change.
