There is no threat to the public after a World War One-era ordnance munition was found inside a home in the city of Beloit.
The Beloit Fire Department says emergency responders were called out yesterday to the 2600 block of Chatsworth Drive after the ordnance munition was located in the basement of the home.
The department coordinated with Rock County Emergency Management to have a National Guard Civil Support Team and a local hazardous materials team to provide guidance and mitigation actions.
