The fire at Green Bay Converting is entering historic territory.
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department issued an update yesterday afternoon, noting that fire crews from all over the area had been battling the blaze at 2200 Larsen Road for over 24 hours.
It all started at 7:45 Monday morning, when the Department was called to Green Bay Converting, where they found flames emanating from the roof of one of the structures.
The fire has since spread to another building, and one collapsed.
Two firefighters did receive minor injuries, but no other injuries or deaths have been reported.
The blizzard conditions made fighting the inferno a challenge and delayed the response time for fire crews.
This fire is said to be the largest in Green Bay since the Leicht Warehouse fire in 1999.
