It’s time again for artists in Congressman Glenn Grothman’s Office to submit work that could be shown at the U.S. Capitol.
The annual Congressional Art Contest gives an opportunity for 8th through 12th grade students to show their artistic talent to the nation as well as in Wisconsin’s Sixth Congressional District.
Cong. Rep. Grothman explains that the overall winner of the district’s competition will be displayed for one year at the Capitol and will join winning artwork from congressional districts across the country.
Artwork must be two-dimensional and can be no longer than 26 inches high, 26 inches wide, 4 inches deep, and must weigh 15 pounds or less.
Rep. Grothman also noted that media, including paintings, drawings, collages, mixed media, photography, and others, will be accepted. All entries must be original in concept, design, and execution as well.
Artwork submission for the 2026 Congressional Art Competition must be delivered or mailed to Grothman’s Fond du Lac Office before Tuesday, April 14th.
