There are three Manitowoc County governmental meetings scheduled for today (March 17th).
Up first is the Highway Committee, which is slated to gather at 4:00 p.m. in the Highway Department Building.
After reviewing a proposal from the airport, the group will discuss the lease agreement for the County Highway C Pit.
They will also look over the bids for various projects, including projects on Highways V and XX, before getting the latest on the Local Small Structure Improvement Program.
Then, at 5:30 p.m., the Executive Committee will convene in the Education Room in the Heritage Center, where they will discuss the rules for the County Board.
Speaking of the Board, they are scheduled to meet in the County Board Room at 6:00 p.m.
After reviewing several Planning and Park petitions, the group will declare April Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Month, and honor outgoing board members and County Executive Bob Ziegelbauer for their years of contribution to the County.
The public will also be given time to comment before the Board reviews a resolution to establish compensation for the Clerk of Court and the Sheriff.
