An organization claims that Nazi activity continues to escalate on the lakeshore.
According to the Wisconsin Bail Out the People Movement, the Sheboygan Democratic Party had one of the windows at its headquarters shattered by a brick.
The smashed-in window was discovered amid the recent snowstorm yesterday (March 16th), with the brick leaving behind a message from the alleged Nazi perpetrators.
The brick thrown through the window reportedly read, “You’re the real Nazis,” while the other side was inscribed with a swastika.
This is just the latest instance of what some are calling Nazi activity in Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties in recent weeks.
On International Women’s Day (March 8th), the group known as Patriot Front marched at a park in Manitowoc, hiding behind masks with a sign that read, “Deport invaders,” while also placing an anti-union banner across a bridge in the city.
Likewise, another racist and anti-union banner was held up in Sheboygan’s Fountain Park in front of the park’s iconic Civil War Monument.
In response, groups such as Progressive Lakeshore People held their “No Hate, No Nazis” rally in Downtown Manitowoc.
“No Kings! No Billionaires,” rallies are scheduled across the area, including in Manitowoc and Sheboygan.
