There will be a temporary traffic pattern for the School District of Mishicot.
Construction was set to begin today on a new Performing Arts Center and Commons, part of a $29.6 million referendum approved by voters in 2024.
Superintendent Cory Erlandson explains that a modified traffic, entrance access, and parking plan begins today, which includes fencing just south of the Middle School entrance, diagonally to the softball field, along the south edge of the parking lot, and to the building just east of the varsity gym entrance.
Buses will pick up and drop off on Washington Street on the south side of the road between Rivers Drive and the main parking lot.
Parent pick-up and drop-off will happen at the middle school entrance.
The traffic pattern will be in effect through June 5th.
There will also be new guidelines starting on June 8th when construction on the performing arts center and commons enters its second phase.
