
There are four governmental meetings today (March 16th) to start off the week in the City of Sheboygan.
Up first will be the Board of Waterworks Commissioners, who will be meeting inside the Water Utility Admin Office at 3:30 p.m.
They will begin by receiving the Superintendent’s report before discussing the purchase of water meters, the Lead Service Line interest rate formula, a review of LSL project number three.
Then, at 4:00 p.m., the Historic Preservation Commission will be inside the second-floor conference room at City Hall, where they will begin with a public hearing regarding the landmarking of a home located at 1330 Bluff Avenue.
They will then take possible action on that landmarking before discussing their 2025 Year-End Review and updates on the Farnsworth and Urban Elementary School projects.
Then, a Special Finance and Personnel Committee meeting will be held in Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m., with their only item on the agenda being continued talks on the TID Development Agreement with Timberwoods Meadows, LLC.
Rounding out the evening will be the Common Council who will meet inside Council Chambers at 6:00 p.m.
They will discuss entering into a two-year contract with Amalgamated Transit Union, Local 998, the TID Development Agreement, and a motion to discharge the City Plan Commission regarding matters in the City of Sheboygan Zoning Ordinance.
They will also receive a presentation from the City’s Public Safety Departments on the schematic design progress on the proposed Public Safety Complex.
After the presentation, they will enter a closed session to further discuss the matter before returning to an open session to take possible action.
