
Several area schools will be participating in the 53rd annual SkillsUSA Wisconsin State Leadership and Skills Conference.
The program will be held at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison April 7th and 8th, featuring more than 1,750 middle, high school, and college/post-secondary students, with business and industry representation from over 100 companies and over 300 volunteers, technical chairs, and judges.
11 area high schools will send competitors, including Mishicot, Howards Grove, Kewaunee, De Pere, West De Pere, Bay Port, Green Bay Southwest, Green Bay West, Green Bay Preble, Ashwaubenon, and Appleton West.
Area colleges sending contingencies include Lakeshore College, Fox Valley Technical College, and Northwest Technical College.
Students will participate in more than 60 competitions, with winners advancing to the National SkillsUSA Championships in Atlanta.
