A dream season has come to an end for the Roncalli boys basketball team.
The Jets faced off against Howards Grove in Chilton for a sectional semifinal matchup. The Jets started strong, taking a 31-25 lead into the half, but the Tigers clawed back and hit several key free throws late in the game to secure a 57-52 win.
Senior Guard Donovan Cowley led Roncalli with 20 points, as his team ended their season with a 21-6 record.
The Tigers, meanwhile, were led by Keaton Milbrath, who accounted for 18 of his team’s points.
Howards Grove advances to the Sectional Finals, where they will face Milwaukee Juneau on Saturday at Hartford Union with a trip to state on the line.
